Chapter 169 - Chapter 169: After becoming a Primordial

[3rd POV]

Becoming the embodiment of several concepts had been an interesting experience for Wanda. She felt a lot of new things, and knew a lot of other new things. Her power had risen enough that making multiverses with a wave of her hand was laughably easy at this point.

She could make dozens if not hundreds at a time, and it would barely drain her. That was how ridiculously powerful she was at this point. She honestly wasn't even sure what entities could even compare to her at this point, beyond the likes of the Presence and entities of similar scale.

She knew for a fact that there was not a single being in Marvel, DC, or any universe she had gone to that compares to her. And she was just going to grow every single second of every single day, constantly getting stronger at a pace that was beyond just about anything you can think of.

She was overpowered like that.

With her new concepts under control, and her now being those concepts, Wanda knew that her connection to the various universes that she has traveled to, has massively exploded. She was effectively the dominant force in every universe she travels to, and that would be the case for pretty much every single one she touches.

There was only a small handful of multiverses that were still a potential issue for her, and these multiverses were the absolute peak of what one thinks of when they think of overpowered fictional universes. Universes like SCP are on that list.

And she wasn't interested in going anywhere near there.

Learning to utilize her new power was effortless, as she was quite literally that power. Due to that, she could instantaneously master any ability that was a product of the concepts that she embodied. Effectively making her impossible to beat with her own power, be it through control or through mastery.

There was not a single being that could surpass her.

Well, none that she knew of at least. There might be one out there somewhere, but she doubted she'd come across them anytime soon.

Time had flickered on by since she had become a Primordial. Roughly a few days since then. She had long since gotten used to her new power, and was now running her shop like normal. Nobody had even noticed the difference, and everything was back to normal like before.

Not a lot had happened since the ascension, and Wanda didn't mind that fact. She had just enjoyed her life, with Death becoming a more frequent guest at her shop, alongside Lucifer, who had recently begun to find interest in his little detective that he had been interacting with more and more.

Amity had been the biggest thing that Wanda had been watching. She had been watching the girl closely, trying to see if she could notice any new wounds or anything on her. But found that thanks to her spells and interference, the girl had not been beaten for the past few days.

She also knew that it was only a matter of time before her family intruded into her store and gave her an excuse to help Amity, and take care of them. Be it through a curse, or through a more...permanent manner.

She was also hoping to soon see Luz, knowing that the girl should be showing up at any time.

Speaking of people from the Owl House universe, she was currently staring at Eda, who had a bright smile on her face. While Wanda was just deadpanning at the woman, wondering if she should kick her out of her shop or not.

"So, what do you say? You wanna by this mystery box?" Eda asked with a bright smile on her face, holding up what looked to be a small tv. It was currently off, and was pink.

"Eda...that is a tv" Wanda responded with a deadpan.

"A tv? The titan is that? No, this is the mystery box! It shows you life's greatest mystery...yourself!" Eda said, holding it up to Wanda as it reflected slightly thanks to the tv's screen, showing Wanda in said reflection.

"Eda, why are you actually here? And do not tell me that it's because you want to sell me your products. Because we both know that the only thing I am willing to buy from you is books" Wanda asked, staring at the woman who looked up at her with a small pout, before slowly she began to stop as Wanda continued to stare.

"I was bored. Alright? I was insanely, stupidly, cruelly bored" Eda responded, a huff leaving her as Wanda deadpanned even more. She was not expecting that as her response, but found that it was in character for Eda.

And it was the truth.

"And you decided that you were going to come and bug me?" Wanda asked with a raised eyebrow. The woman stared at her before glancing to the side with an awkward cough.

"Yeah well you're a lot more interesting than half the people on the Boiling Isles. It's boring over there! And my customers are almost always the weirdos, which might sound fun, but damn does it get old dealing with the same people every single day" Eda whined, truly not enjoying her job with how boring her customers had become.

"And you don't do it for the money?" Wanda asked in amusement.

"Of course I do! But it's much more money to take money from funny idiots, rather than boring idiots" Eda replied, as Wanda stared at her.

"Oh? So does that mean I am an idiot, since you were trying to sell me that tv? Surely that means that in your eyes I'm an idiot, right?" Wanda asked, her eyes showing more and more amusement as Eda paled when she realized that she had inadvertently almost called Wanda an idiot.

"No! Of course not. You are a smart lady, and plus, you didn't buy the "Tv" as you call it, meaning you are not an idiot" Eda responded instantly, not wanting this to go down that route.

She really did not want to piss off the woman in front of her. She knew for a fact that Wanda was stronger than her, and could effortlessly defeat her. The magic that Wanda has shown to her was well beyond anything she had ever seen.

"Hmm, whatever you say. Now, is there anything else you are here for, or did you just come to try to sell me a TV?" Wanda asked, as Eda glanced over at the bookshelves before turning back to her.

"Uh yeah, I came to buy some books on magic. The last ones I got were incredible, so I might as well get some more" Eda said, before walking over to the bookshelf.

Wanda chuckled watching her go, realizing that Eda was doing this because she wanted to get in her good graces after she had almost insulted her. She did not want to piss off Wanda.

At least she was smart enough to know that making an enemy of Wanda was not a smart idea, and that it was best to be on her good side. To have her as an ally, rather than an enemy.

Wanda watched her silently, noticing that she had been drawn to the area of transfiguration magic. She imagined that it was thanks to the connection it could have to her tendency to conjure objects and use her own form of transfiguration.

Transfiguration also tended to delve into animagus and animal transformation, so it would also help with her curse should she learn and master it. The Animagus transformation in particular should be able to grant her control over her rather nasty curse.

At least it should help a lot, if it didn't grant her total control over it.

'Hmm, wonder when Amity is going to come in' Wanda thought, a frown forming on her face when she realized that Amity was late. That was the first time that had ever happened, as the girl had never been late. She had always been on time, or had gotten in even before.

She had started to join Wanda for breakfast in the morning.

But today she didn't arrive, and now Wanda was growing increasingly concerned that something had happened back in her world.

And as Wanda thought this, she heard the door ding open, and as she looked up, her eyes widened in alarm when Amity raced inside with fear in her eyes. Eda looked over from where she stood, an alarmed frown on her face.

"Amity? Are you okay honey?" Wanda asked, worried as the girl had tears in her eyes.

"P-Please hide me! They'-" "Amity dearest. Is this...little place where you have been running off too?" A shrill feminine voice echoed, as Amity fearfully stilled behind Wanda, as Wanda and Eda turned to the door, frowns forming on both of their faces.

As there stood...
