|3rd POV|
It has been three months since the Moon Landing, and the people of Remnant still talk about it. Some people speculate on the impact of this historical event and how they can finally reach for the stars and leave this planet to colonize another planet so that they can get away from the Grimm.
Some people argue that the Faunus need to give the tech they use to reach for the moon for the 'betterment' of the population as a whole. Sadly for them, for the first time in a long time, Faunus had a united front.
The person who says that immediately has bad PR, and they have a bad day. CEOs who say that now have many workers leave and go to Menagerie, who welcome them with open arms. Politicians who say that will receive bad press so bad that they become the mocking object of the population, even the humans.
However, that is not the only thing that has happened in the past three months. Two months ago, Dorne Industry sent multiple satellites to space and granted the remnant people international access to the internet without the need for CCT to make a call, and access to the internet.
Just like that, the only thing that the humans have held over the Faunus of Menagerie is gone. Now, Menagerie does not need the Mistral Kingdom for its CCT.
With this satellite, Dorne Industry also offers a much cheaper plan than the others. They are now a quarter of the price of the people who control the CCT.
That is just the beginning. Dorne Industries also starts to unveil its farming tech and show the world its high-tech hydroponic farm, which can produce food for the entire population of Remnant inside Menagerie.
Dorne Industries also started to export the food in large amounts, while the other companies are in shambles. In a matter of a month, food prices were reduced by 75% from the original. The only thing that is not affected is the seafood trade.
That is because Dorne has not yet modified the genes of fish and other sea creatures to make them produce faster and create better and bigger fish.
Dorne already does it to the cows, chickens, and pigs. They are now bigger and have a faster reproductive cycle. Pigs can now give birth a month and a half after the fetus forms. Cows take only a month, and chickens only take days.
After this news spread, the Great Migration started. At first, all the Faunus across the world migrate to the Menagerie. Orin needs to spend three days straight constructing all the homes the people need.
He also needs to expand many of his factories to give those people jobs. However, only people trusted by Sienna and the Albain Twins can work in the weapon factories—the same with the high-tech factories and labs that Orin owns.
More people come when others see all those people receive home and work. This time, all of them are humans. Sadly for them, for the first time in their history, they experience racism. All of them get rejected and are thrown away from Menagerie.
After this, a lot of humans start to protest that the Faunus are racist for rejecting them. The irony goes through their empty heads. Because of Menagerie's location, they cannot stubbornly stay near Menagerie. With the ocean between their two continents, those people cannot stay and easily get caught by the patrols and deported.
Speaking of patrols, Sienna and the White Fangs become officially the army of Menagerie. Currently, they are taking care of the civil law and the Grimm problem in Menagerie.
Orin is making sure they receive the best equipment to handle the problem. Are they the best weaponry? Not really. The reason? The best weapon requires a lot of resources and time to make. The army does not need that. They require reliable and easy-to-understand weaponry.
Because of his Guilliman Template, Orin was able to create an easy-to-understand military structure and doctrine for the army. After a few hours of work, he created three thick books.
The first one is Codex Militarum. It is a massive tome regarding moral behaviour, order of battle, and tactical doctrine of the Bestia Militarum, the name for the Army of Menagerie. This book is two hundred and thirty-two pages long and filled with what an army needs to win a battle. He also makes sure to write that it is not a law, but rather a strong suggestion from him. He wants a structured army, but he doesn't want to lose the fluidity an army should have.
The second one is Lex Sacrosancta. It is a law book. It is the law that the police need to follow and use to judge people. This tome outlines moral behaviour, order of conduct, and tactical doctrine of the Praetoria Justicarum, the name of the Police Force of Menagerie.
The last one is Codex Administratum. It is a collection of all the easy-to-communicate knowledge he had on the development, management, and advancement of civilizations and organizations. It is the book that Sienna, Albain Twins, and Ghira love to read. According to them, the book he writes gives them a lot of eye-opening moments to be a good administrator for a country.
With these three books, Orin created a good foundation for Menagerie and its people.
And the people willingly follow his words and the law he creates. His words attract people because of his Guilliman power, and his presence makes people believe in him. When he says that everything will be alright, they believe him. When he says that the law will bring peace, they believe him.
The fact that the law is reasonable also helps. The law, tax law, and other laws he creates are put on public display, and the people can read all of them. They love it even more when they see that all of them are reasonable and fair.
All of these make Menagerie officially known as the Fifth Kingdom, even when many people do not want it to happen. With a military equipped with powerful weaponry, food production that can feed the entire world, and permanent access to a global network, Menagerie fulfills all the requirements to be acknowledged as one of the Kingdoms of Remnant.
All of the kingdom's politicians and leaders look at Menagerie in a new light. Some of them want all the things they produce, while others want to create an alliance.
However, all of that does not matter to Orin. The reason? He is finally done with the spaceship. It is a two-kilometer-long, six-hundred-meter-wide, and four-hundred-meter-tall vessel filled to the brim with weaponry.
It can carry up to two thousand crew.
The reason it has a small crew capacity for its size is due to the massive utility machinery inside the ship. Orin and Alice create this vessel to be terraforming-capable in case they need to claim a planet and want to terraform it.
Not only that, it is also a self-sufficient vessel. It will never run out of energy, food, or other things. The reason? It has an Energy-Matter conversion fabricator inside the vessel to make all the things the crew needs. It also has a massive farm that can feed up to seven thousand people forever. Energy? This vessel contains a special reactor called the Infinite Core, which is capable of producing energy infinitely. How? Orin manages to create an infant universe and trap it inside the core. It is created from a very rare and volatile material born from the first big bang. It is a material coming from the Phantasy Star universe. It takes a lot of resources for his [Resource] power to create. The generator harvests energy from an eternally expanding subsumed knot of space-time. There is also a harvester that can harvest an asteroid or planet for material. Orin can use the harvester as a weapon by implanting a forced thermal/flux field into the crust, extracting residual heat, metals, and volatiles while leaving the planet structurally intact. This will leave the planet an empty husk of itself.
In the end, Orin and Alice do not create a spaceship but rather a walking and flying Apocalypse/Hope-Bringer vehicle. It is an apocalypse because if something goes wrong at the core, it will explode and overlap the universe with the infant universe, creating an apocalyptic event. When that happens, the entire universe will be gone. Not dying because that implies you have time to experience dying.
When that happens, you are gone with nothing remaining.
Because of this reason, Orin and Alice make sure to put the best thing to protect the core. He also makes sure no one enters the area where the core is located and only lets Alice and her army of puppets, who can take care of the core alongside him.
"What will you name her, Father?"
Orin thinks for a few seconds before saying.
"Genesis. This ship shall be the origin of the new age."
