|3rd POV|
Ozpin looks through the screen in front of him in awe. Seeing the moon this close, even through a screen, is something he thought he had never experienced in his long life. He always thought that Atlas would be the one reaching the moon, but he was wrong.
It is a small country in the middle of the ocean that is reaching for the moon.
In people's eyes, Menagerie is more of a prison for the Faunus. It is a gift in the name only, and it takes time for the Faunus to notice it. There is a reason why the Faunus Right Revolution happened after the Great War. The Faunus see the entire island as nothing but a desert, filled to the brim with Grimm, and they know they are being tricked.
Even though they won the Faunus Right Revolution, they only received the right to go anywhere else in the world and nothing more because their victory is not as big as the previous one. They have the right to stay in any kingdom and can technically do what humans do.
Sadly, reality is harsh, and even to this day, Faunus are treated as second-class citizens.
Ozpin knows that this event will change that. He can already see a lot of people who want to know what kind of thing allows them to reach space and touch the moon. As he looks to the right, Ozpin can see James looking at the screen with curiosity, and he can already imagine what he is thinking.
The thruster alone will revolutionize military vehicles, and combined with the fact that the Faunus is able to create something that works outside the atmosphere, Ozpin knows that James will try his hardest to get all of these technologies.
He needs to ensure his friends do not do anything too far, or they will lose access to Menagerie.
Ozpin knows that Menagerie is already self-sufficient, and the only thing that can be used against them is the CCT. They can reject the Menagerie to access the CCT, but he has a feeling that will not last long.
The fact that they are able to broadcast what is happening on the moon to Remnant already shows him that the Faunus will soon create another revolutionary thing.
Ozpin takes a sip of his coffee and watches as the crew takes a lot of moon rocks after putting the flag of Menagerie on the moon. It is the new symbol of the Menagerie. It is a golden lion. He learns from Ghira why they chose a lion as their new symbol.
It is a symbol that shows the world their new power. Lions are strong and take care of their families. It symbolizes how strong they are and ensures they care for their fellow Faunus. However, Ozpin also learns about the reason why they chose lions.
The man who brings change to Menagerie is a Lion Faunus.
He looks to the side and sees the massive man talking with his android daughter. Orin Dorne is the man who brings miracles and change to Menagerie—the man who changed the landscape and turned the desert into a tropical paradise.
If not for the fact that he cannot sense any mana from Orin, he would have thought that he was a god.
"Sir Orin, we are ready to return."
He snaps from his thoughts when he hears those words from the speaker. He looks at the screen and sees the crews are returning to the shuttle. It has been two hours since they landed on the moon, and Ozpin can honestly say that he is jealous.
Watching them jump around in the low-gravity area is something he is jealous of. He can do the same with dust, but doing that kind of activity in the natural environment is something he wants to experience.
"Roger, Owl One. I've sent the path line for you."
"Understood. Ion thrusters online. Fusion core stable. Engaging Gravion Field. Everything is online. How is your end, Control?"
Ozpin and the others can hear the control answer through the speaker.
"Everything is green, Owl One. Projected arrival in Eight Hours with the new route."
"Roger that. We are departing at 3… 2… 1… Departing."
They watch as the spaceship departs from the moon, but this time, they use an alternate route where there is less debris. It is not as exciting, but the people still watch them with excitement. Even the number of people watching this on the internet is still increasing, and when it stops, the number stays there and never decreases.
After waiting for eight hours, they finally arrive at Menagerie. Even though it is at night, Orin makes sure to activate all the lights to illuminate the ship as they descend. He will make sure the others know about their arrival.
Orin looks at the others and says.
"Shall we greet them?"
After saying that, he takes them to the landing pad where the crew leaves the ships with all the goods they get from the moon. It looks like a regular rock with a silver color, but the others are excited to touch and take a photo of the rock as if it were the rarest thing in the world.
After congratulating the crew, Ozpin walks toward the man who made all of this happen and says.
"So, what will you do now, Sir Orin?"
Orin looks at the immortal, smiles a little, and says.
"Oh? Do you really want to know, Headmaster Ozpin?"
"Of course. I wonder if I can sponsor you in your next project. I can help you with anything you need, you know? I might look like this, but I have a lot of connections and quite a lot of wealth."
Ozpin genuinely wants to help Orin because the higher the tech, the more chance they can beat Salem, the Queen of Grimm, and his Ex-Wife. The fact that he will receive the tech after it is done is the bonus.
"Sadly, it is a secret that I cannot expose. Company secret, you see."
"Ah. Is it a project regarding your company, Sir Orin?"
"Of course. The next project is related to the Dorne Industry. That's why I cannot tell you anything."
"Even though I can invest in your company, Sir Orin?"
Orin waves his hand and says.
"I am not that poor to require your investment for this project, Headmaster. The Omni-Tool also brings me quite a lot of money for the foundation of this project."
Ozpin releases a disappointed sigh and says.
"I see. That is a shame. If you need a sponsor or investor, please call me. I want to see the people of this world prosper, and I have a feeling you will be the one leading the change."
