"..." Iris Harris pursed her lips, "Brandan is not an old lover."
Brandan Hyde laughed coldly: "If he's not an old lover, then is he a current lover?"
Iris gave him a sidelong glance, too lazy to argue with him.
She walked over, sat down in front of Brandan Hyde, picked up chopsticks, and started eating breakfast.
Brandan Hyde's face was dark; who knows what he was angry about. After Iris finished breakfast, she went to the hospital.
Brandan, still worried, put down his chopsticks and followed her.
Elaine, who was asking the nurse about James Mason's condition at the door, saw Iris and Brandan, turned and respectfully called out, "Miss Harris, Mr. Hyde, you've arrived."
Iris nodded, "I'm going to see him."
Then she turned to Brandan and said, "Stay here, don't disturb their work."
Brandan's face darkened instantly, "Disturb their work?"
She made it sound like he was some unruly child; what image did he have in her heart, really?
