The moonlight vaguely outlined her face, her elegant and beautiful visage seemed to be veiled in a layer of mist. Brandan raised his hand, slowly tracing her contours through that moonlight.
How should I compensate you?
Perhaps in this lifetime, no matter how much love I give, it cannot repay even a tenth of what you once gave me.
Yet even so, my love is genuine.
Even if it's insignificant, it's unique, my love for you.

The next morning, Brandan woke up early.
As he stood at the sink brushing his teeth, Iris also groggily stumbled in, picked up a toothbrush cup, filled it with water, and brushed her teeth alongside him.
Brandan looked at her, appearing so sleepy that she could barely lift her head, and couldn't help but say, "You should sleep a little more; there's nothing to do anyway."
Iris mumbled around her toothbrush, "No."
"..." Brandan frowned, "Do you have something to do later?"
"Aren't I supposed to go to the company with you?"
