Brandan thought Iris looked adorable as she rested her chin and smiled at him.
So adorable that he wanted to lean down and kiss the corner of her mouth.
But he had the willpower to suppress this urge—after all, the office was such a serious place, better not indulge in personal affections here.
"You just sit here."
Brandan directed Iris's actions, "I'll deal with this pile of files and join you for lunch at noon. What do you want for lunch?"
"Steak."
As a carnivore, it was no surprise Iris would say such a thing.
Brandan affectionately patted her head, nodded, and then turned back to his work.
