Iris Harris sat on the bed, feeling unsure of what to do.
She had angered James Mason.
He had made advances twice, and both times she refused, even going so far as to slap him in the end.
It was only natural for him to be angry.
Even Iris herself didn't understand why she reacted so strongly as to slap him.
She liked him, didn't she?
James was right, if you like someone, why wouldn't you be willing to do such things together?
Was there something wrong with her?
Iris closed her eyes, feeling like she should apologize to James.
Iris sat alone on the bed for a long time before getting up and heading out the door.
James's place was far from where she lived, and by the time Iris got there in the dark, she saw his door opening from the inside from afar, and she halted briefly, seeing Elaine coming out from inside.
The usually cold-faced woman now had her hair down, wrapped only in a bathrobe, exuding a seductive aura.
