Seeing how pained She looked, Jiang Jingheng poured a glass of water for Her. "Just eat a little something to pad your stomach first. Once we get back I'll make you something else."
Mu Yan took a sip of water and laughed. "No need to trouble yourself. A while back I was throwing up no matter what I ate, but it's been much better lately."
As She spoke, She picked up Her chopsticks and took a bite of the greens.
She didn't know if it was the oil, but it tasted cloying and greasy to Her.
Jiang Jingheng said nothing. His handsome face was tense, and his gaze slid from Her face down to Her belly. Unfortunately, with the table between them, he couldn't see anything at all.
"How about…"
"Mm?" Mu Yan lifted Her head to look at Him, Her eyes full of confusion. "What?"
"How about we switch to another restaurant?" Jiang Jingheng said. "If you're not used to the food, then you're not. Don't force yourself."
