Upon returning to the place they were staying, Mu Yan found herself not as sleepy as before.
She saw Jiang Jingheng walking out, and anxiously grabbed his arm, asking, "Where are you going?"
"Just going to the room to grab something," Jiang Jingheng replied.
Mu Yan let out a sigh of relief; he wasn't leaving after all.
She held onto his hand and said, "Hurry back then, I'm scared alone."
After speaking, she changed her mind, "I'm going with you."
Jiang Jingheng softly said, "I'll be right back with the thing. Just wait for me here, like a good girl."
"Why won't you let me go to your room? Are you hiding another woman in there?" Mu Yan glared at him.
Jiang Jingheng, "..."
Seeing her insistence, he didn't argue.
"Then let Mrs. Jiang check personally."
Mu Yan smiled, drawing him outside, evidently ready to inspect.
There was no other woman, as Jiang Jingheng went back just to get a set of pajamas.
