Koa Jackson and a nurse wheeled Mia Ginger to the side doctor's lounge.
"Dr. Jackson."
Seeing Koa Jackson lost in thought, the nurse beside him gently called out.
Handing him a razor.
Koa Jackson raised his hand to take it, bent down, and calmly lowered his head to shave Mia Ginger's hair.
Koa's hands were still a bit shaky. The nurse watching him felt that his movements were incredibly slow, overly quiet, and excessively gentle. She dared not speak.
No one knew how much time had passed before Koa Jackson finished shaving Mia Ginger's hair.
He said to the anesthetist beside him, "Thank you."
"It's my duty, don't worry too much," the anesthetist replied with concern and proceeded to wheel Mia Ginger out.
Koa Jackson stood in place, taking a deep breath.
Headed to the changing room.
He put on a full set of sterile clothes, bowed his head, put on gloves, and entered Operating Room No. 1.
For the first time, the lights felt glaring.
Causing dizziness.
