After a while, the two of them arrived at the apartment.
They had been busy the entire night, and Mia Ginger hadn't even changed her clothes.
Koa Jackson took the initiative to grab one of his shirts and told her to take a shower first.
It wasn't even half past eight yet.
He didn't rest either, took a shower in the master bedroom, changed clothes, and began brushing his teeth as usual.
Halfway through, he glimpsed Mia Ginger's face in the mirror.
The little girl wore nothing but his white shirt, with her messy, soft wet hair, leaning against the door frame, looking at him with calm, damp eyes.
"What's wrong?"
Koa Jackson rinsed his mouth, turned to look at her, and asked softly.
Mia Ginger ruffled her short hair with her hand, displaying a childlike annoyance in her expression, and said irritably, "I don't want to wear those pants, but I don't have any clothes here. It's so frustrating."
