She looked about the same age as Song Yan, a charming and mature woman.
"I'm really sorry, but I don't like sharing my phone number with strangers."
On the plane, this woman had a seat next to Song Yan, and she initiated a brief conversation with him, nothing more.
The woman turned her gaze to Zhuang Lian next to her: "Is this your girlfriend?"
"Sorry, we have something to attend to," Song Yan turned to Zhuang Lian: "Let's go."
Zhuang Lian nodded, glancing back at the woman before leaving with Song Yan.
After getting in the car, Zhuang Lian leaned over to fasten her seatbelt, hesitating whether to ask who that woman was, but then feeling she had no right to interfere in his private life.
"Don't you have to go to school today?" Song Yan asked, steering onto the main road.
"I knew you were coming back, so I took a day off."
Zhuang Lian leaned her head against the passenger seat, letting the breeze from the open window ruffle the strands of hair on her forehead.
