Scarlett Yates was taken aback, a chill rising up her back, and she neurotically turned her head to look around.
All around were either endless streams of vehicles or hurried pedestrians.
She looked for a long while but couldn't find anyone, so she turned her head back: "Maxwell Saxon, are you stalking me?"
"No." His reply was quick.
She felt he was lying.
She hadn't managed to find where he was hiding, but her intuition couldn't be wrong.
"Do you have anything else to say? Speak quickly, if you have to fart, fart quickly, or I'll hang up." Now in front of him, she was as vulgar as she could be.
She knew Maxwell Saxon didn't like vulgar women.
He himself was someone with very high standards for himself, always very picky. You could tell just from his bachelor apartment before, it's rare for a man's room to be that clean and tidy.
