What exactly does he want?
This morning, who was it that said her feet are hers, and if she wants to leave, no one can stop her?
Yet now, against her wishes, he drags her into this small room, claiming he wants to talk with her. What does this mean?
Ridiculous, what is there to talk about between them?
She has absolutely no desire to speak a single word to him.
"Why are you so angry?" Matthew Saxon stands opposite her. His slender eyes narrow slightly, showing a hint of an inscrutable expression as he raises his eyebrows lightly.
He asks her, but before she can answer, he raises his eyebrows again, looking at her deeply, "The one who got slapped last night was me. If anyone has a reason to be angry, it's me."
"Oh, you're talking about last night?"
Scarlett Yates sneers, "That's right, I slapped you last night, but I slapped a man who tried to take advantage of me."
