Daisy Ginger helped him button up, looked up at his face, and couldn't help but smile, "What's with your expression?"
"Nothing."
"Are you worried I have a problem with you?"
"No."
Daisy stood on her tiptoes, pinched the man's fair cheek, just like pinching Erin Ginger's, "Saying one thing and meaning another, stubborn as a mule."
He probably didn't realize that when he lied and stared at people like that, he looked exactly like Erin Ginger.
The man caught her hand, rubbed it in his palm a few times, sighed softly, and called her name, "Little Ginger."
"Hmm?"
"You're not mad at me?"
Daisy smiled, gazing into his eyes, "Why should I be mad? I really wanted to go with you to the hospital today. If you don't want me to go, then I won't go, no problem."
"..." Edward Stephens didn't speak, he just reached out, gently pulled her into his arms, and kissed her on the top of her head, "Once I solve this issue, I'll give you an answer, don't worry."
Daisy responded, "I trust you."
