Arlo Seys folded his arms, glaring coldly at Jose Floyd, and snapped at his brother‑in‑law Jorge Saxton, who was trying to play peacemaker on the side. "Jorge Saxton, if back then Ariel was pregnant and I killed the baby, what would you have done?"

Jorge's face went dark on the spot. His voice was icy as he shot back, "Then you wouldn't be here now, I'd have killed you already! Arlo Seys, what the hell are you implying? If you'd dared kill my nephew back then, treated my sister like that, you think I'd ever have agreed to this marriage?"
Arlo nodded in full agreement, looking all righteous and justified, his gaze cutting toward Jose. While the two of them were still stunned, he suddenly swung another brutal punch straight at Jose!
"Exactly! Jorge, you're right! So Jose Floyd, today I'm going to kill you!"
