Nolan Davis stared at Sophie Smith, who had been standing at the door for a long time, his self-mocking smile deepening little by little.
"Little Sophie, I finally understand what makes you so happy," Nolan Davis said as he leisurely got up and walked towards her. His strong, tall figure imposed a heavy sense of pressure on her.
This man always appeared gentlemanly and refined, but if provoked, he could become a formidable beast,
although Sophie Smith wasn't sure if his previous anger, expressed by throwing his phone, was caused by her.
"Mr. Davis, is it wrong for me to smile happily?" Sophie said sullenly, lowering her head. "If you don't like it, I won't smile then..."
"Seeing you smile, I would wish for nothing more, but..." He paused, his eyebrows furrowing deeply, "but if it's because of Asher Land, I'd rather pretend not to see it."
Asher Land again.
