"Alex, know that I love you and I will always be there for you. Always. Like now. But I don't want to distract you or anything, so I'll cheer for you outside the Battle Choir room," Aeris said with a smile.
"I'll cheer for you, Alex," Lapiz stated with determination.
"Lapiz, I need to tell you something important." Aeris held her sister's hand gently. "It's a very urgent matter, so please, come with me. We need to talk in private."
"But…" Lapiz looked at her sister, and then at her lover, who was about to face off against the Aetherion Academy students in the Battle Choir.
She wanted to watch as Alex beat the arrogant students of Aetherion Academy, but her sister's grip on her hand was firm. The young lady instinctively felt that Aeris wouldn't let her watch the battle no matter how much she insisted.
"Don't worry, Lapiz." Alex hugged his lover gently. "Just follow your sister. I'll look for you after my duel ends."
