Chapter 6 - Transform

Aarya and Alex arrived at Alex's house, only to find a girl tying her mask and holding a cleaning kit. She looked up and said, "I thought I'd have to clean this whole place by myself. And who's this?"

"This is the friend I was telling you about." Aarya replied.

The girl extended a hand. "Oh, nice to meet you. I'm Rose."

"Hi, I'm Alex," he replied.

"Hey, Rosey, let's get ready. We've got a whole house to clean!" Aarya said with enthusiasm.

Rose chuckled. "Look who's talkin' I'm already halfway dressed for the job, and you're still in your normal clothes."

"We boys only need five minutes to get ready. You girls, though, take forever," Aarya teased.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Rose said with a playful roll of her eyes.

Alex, caught between their banter, asked, "Uh, guys... what should I do?"

Rose laughed. "Oh, right! Sorry, Alex. Get changed into something suitable for cleaning and join us."

With that, the three of them tackled the house, knowing they had a full day ahead. The ground floor would be their production area, while the first floor would serve as storage. By the end of the day, the house was spotless, and they felt a shared sense of accomplishment.

To mark the beginning of their journey, Aarya carved the word "TRANSFORM" into a rectangular piece of wood and had everyone carved their names on the back. They proudly hung it in their workspace.

Aarya then decided to make toothbrushes as his first product, as in the medieval ages, people used toothpicks to clean their teeth.

Aarya said the next morning, "we need to head to the forest to collect wood, bamboo, and dried coconut for our first product."

Together, they gathered the materials in bulk and stored them on the first floor. Aarya divided the tasks: Alex was to cut the wood and bamboo into smaller rectangular pieces, while Rose separated threads from the dried coconuts.

Four hours of work later, they had prepared the raw materials. Rose and Alex took a break, but Aarya went to the village to buy adhesive. He returned with a bulk supply, which they stored before heading home for the day.

The following day, they built a stall for selling their brushes' using leftover wood, they carved "TRANSFORM" into the structure, giving it a professional touch.

With their stall ready, they turned their focus to production. Aarya, after several experiments, demonstrated how to shape the wooden pieces into brush handles. Rose and Alex watched closely, then joined in. By the end of the day, they had shaped half of the batch.

Over the next day, they completed shaping the handles and marked them with charcoal to make drills and insert the coconut fiber into those holes.

On the fourth day, they began drilling holes into the handles. It was a careful and sensitive task, and teaching the technique led to a few broken brushes. Despite the challenges, they managed to finish drilling the entire batch.

The fifth day was dedicated to attaching the coconut strings. Rose and Alex carefully glued and trimmed the bristles, turning raw materials into functional toothbrushes. It took two full days, but they finally completed the first batch.

To add a final touch, they branded the brushes with the name "TRANSFORM" using fire-printing techniques.

On the final day, they carved a face with a bright smile into the front of their stall. With their masks on and their brushes packed, they went to the market, ready to introduce their creation to the world.

As they set up their stall, the word "TRANSFORM" gleamed, a symbol of their hard work and innovative spirit.
