Under Tornado's psychic control, the Angel of Redemption steadily landed in the square in front of the palace.
At the same time, Doflamingo and his top officers stepped out of the palace to greet them.
Kronos, along with Konan, Gojo Satoru, and the others, also disembarked from the Angel of Redemption.
Doflamingo, wearing his trademark pink sunglasses, strode forward with a wide grin and a loud laugh.
"Fufufu! Kronos, you really know how to make an entrance—parking your ship right at the gates of my palace!"
Albedo, standing beside Kronos, couldn't hide her displeasure at Doflamingo's arrogant demeanor. Her expression darkened, but she restrained herself out of respect for Kronos.
Kronos, unfazed by Doflamingo's words, responded calmly with a faint smile.
"We only needed to park for a short while. Your square seemed wide enough, so I figured it was convenient. I assume you don't mind?"
Doflamingo's eyebrow twitched at the subtle jab, but he kept his face composed.
The officers behind him, however, couldn't help but grumble in their minds. Parked on land? Right at the palace entrance? Who does that?!
"Fufufu! As long as my guests don't step over the line, I don't really care what makes you happy," Doflamingo said with a theatrical shrug.
"Good to hear," Kronos replied with a faint smirk.
"Well then, let's not just stand here. Why don't we go inside and talk? There's no reason to keep guests waiting at the door. Fufufu!"
With a wave of his hand, Doflamingo signaled his subordinates to prepare a banquet as he led Kronos and his crew inside.
Soon, they entered the palace's grand hall, where a feast had already been arranged in record time.
Without hesitation, Kronos and his companions each took their seats.
Doflamingo sat at the head of the table.
"Hahaha! Kamui Pirates, please help yourselves—eat and drink to your heart's content!"
"Then we won't hold back," Kronos said, returning the hospitality.
With that, dancers entered, music played, and the palace's banquet to welcome Kronos and his group officially began.
Everyone relaxed and enjoyed the feast without a trace of concern for traps or conspiracies.
Time passed quickly, and before long, night had fallen and the banquet was winding down.
The once pristine hall was now a mess—plates of half-eaten food, empty bowls, and overturned wine barrels scattered everywhere.
Both groups seemed to have enjoyed themselves.
But even though Kronos had eaten his fill, he hadn't let down his guard. He hadn't forgotten that this entire gathering was arranged by Doflamingo for a reason.
And now that the formalities were over, it was time for Doflamingo to show his true intentions.
Kronos set down his wine glass, slowly raised his head, and looked toward Doflamingo, who remained seated at the head of the table.
"Doflamingo, I doubt you invited us here just for a banquet."
As soon as Kronos spoke, the room fell silent.
The cheerful atmosphere vanished instantly.
Still resting his head on one hand, Doflamingo's grin widened.
"Fufufu... Kronos, it's always easier dealing with smart people."
With that, he stood up and walked toward Kronos.
"Of course, I didn't invite you just to eat and drink."
"I've got a proposal—and I think you'll want to hear it."
Kronos narrowed his eyes slightly, unsure what Doflamingo was planning.
"Oh? What kind of proposal?"
Doflamingo chuckled again and raised a single finger.
"Fufufu... it's simple. Cooperation."
"I know all about you. Since the Summit War, you've been making moves. You've annexed islands, expanded your territory..."
"The takeover of Fish-Man Island, the Kingdom of Fagor—those were your handiwork, weren't they?"
"And I doubt you'll stop there. I bet you're aiming to rule the world."
His eyes gleamed with madness as he spoke.
"And to conquer the world, you'll need war. And for war—you'll need weapons."
"And I just happen to be the man who can provide them."
"So... what do you think of my proposal?" Doflamingo's smile widened even more.
"Let's join forces and stand at the top of the world. Fufufufufu!"
