"Oh yeah? So this is Doflamingo's territory..."
Aboard the Angel of Redemption, Kronos stepped out of the captain's cabin after hearing Illya's report.
But to him, this wasn't anything significant. He didn't show any particular emotion, simply gazing indifferently at the island visible on the horizon.
Now that they had arrived near Dressrosa—territory of one of the Shichibukai—Kronos naturally wouldn't pass up the opportunity.
The Angel of Redemption picked up speed and headed directly for the island.
It didn't take long before the ship was anchored just off the coast of Dressrosa.
Kronos stood at the bow, preparing to issue orders, when suddenly, the sound of spinning propellers echoed from above.
Looking up, everyone saw a black dot rapidly approaching from the sky.
As the object drew closer, they could clearly make out what it was: a large man with buck teeth spinning like a helicopter, carrying a long-haired girl in a purple maid outfit on his back.
In a bizarre flying position, the two circled once around the Angel of Redemption before hovering nearby.
Kronos immediately recognized them—Buffalo and Baby 5 of the Donquixote Family.
"Greetings, members of the Kamui Pirates," Baby 5 said politely. "Our young master would like to meet you."
"If you don't mind, please head to the highest palace in Dressrosa. He's waiting for you there."
Without waiting for a reply, Buffalo turned and flew off, carrying Baby 5 away.
Albedo, standing behind Kronos, immediately scowled.
"These guys are so rude! How dare they act so disrespectfully toward Lord Kronos?!"
"If their young master wants a meeting, he should come here in person! How dare he expect Lord Kronos to go to him?!"
Her eyes burned with anger, and her clenched teeth distorted her otherwise beautiful face.
"Lord Kronos, allow me to punish them for their insolence!" she said, about to rush out.
But Kronos calmly extended a hand, stopping her.
"Albedo, don't be so impulsive."
"They've sent an invitation. There's no need to take offense. Let's go see what Doflamingo has to say."
Hearing Kronos' calm words, Albedo reluctantly took a deep breath and reined in her anger.
Kronos, too, was curious about Doflamingo's intentions. While he had initially considered taking action immediately, he changed his mind. He decided to see what kind of game Doflamingo was playing.
Still, he had no intention of walking into Doflamingo's palace like a guest.
Turning to Tornado, he gave a simple order.
"Tornado, use your telekinesis to lift the ship. We're landing on his palace directly."
Tornado nodded silently. In the next moment, she activated her powerful psychic powers.
Wrapped in her energy, the Angel of Redemption slowly rose from the sea.
Hovering in the air, the massive silver vessel began to drift toward Dressrosa's capital.
Meanwhile, on the streets of Dressrosa, the residents looked up in shock at the enormous ship flying overhead.
"I-Is that real?!"
"What kind of ship flies through the air?!"
Some stood frozen in awe, while others began to panic.
"Look at the flag—is that a pirate symbol?!"
A few sharp-eyed citizens recognized it immediately.
"Wait, that's the Kamui Pirates' flag!"
The moment the name was mentioned, panic broke out on the streets.
The Kamui Pirates—infamous across the seas—had suddenly arrived in Dressrosa!
On the deck of the Angel of Redemption, Kronos stood silently at the bow, unfazed by the chaos below.
Behind him, his top crew members lined up in order—Konan, Gojo Satoru, Pain (Tendō), Hashirama, Jikuni Yuichi, Artoria, Madara, Bang, Albedo, and Tornado.
Even the rest of the crew, including Bassac and Populun, stood ready.
An overwhelming aura of pressure radiated from the ship itself, blanketing the land below.
In the palace atop Dressrosa, Doflamingo watched from the balcony, eyes narrowed and lips curling into a grin.
"Fufufu… heh… showing up like that right over my palace? It's like he's slapping me in the face before we've even said hello."
He laughed loudly and clapped his hands together.
"That's Kronos for you. Bold as ever. It doesn't surprise me one bit. In fact… I expected nothing less."
