"What are you thinking about?"
A beautiful black-haired woman wrapped her arm around a taller man with silver hair from behind. She had a kind smile on her face as she asked her question.
The silver-haired man just stood on the balcony of his house, looking towards the east with a distracted expression. By Earth standards, this house was slightly above-average in size, but when the house was compared to the other houses in the city, it was truly tiny.
"There are just 300,000 years left," the man commented absentmindedly.
"This again?" the woman asked with a roll of her eyes as she turned her man around to face her. "I thought we had an agreement. You said you would be fine with it. You said you could live a life like this."
The man sighed. "I thought so, but the more time passes, the more I feel like I could've done more."
