Chapter 9 - Episode 8- Demonio Purgator

He was the youngest man alive and he was proud of it. He was a little gentleman and had the humour of his father. In fact he was his father in his mothers beauty.

 Just then…he wasn't Demonio.

He had long forgotten his real name.

Demonio was a strong boy, beloved by his people and was a promising heir to the throne of Urifell. He was a delight, brought up in bejewelment but humble in his socials.

Some say it was from his father that he grew this manner because his father was a people's man. In fact he spent more time in town than the palace and little Fellura was always behind his father, Kain Fellura.

But the people of Stardt'klein were amazed to find that the Prince, when given a wide option of who to play with. Chose the frail circus boy who was often found stealing and fighting. Little Fumar Yugio.

"Stop running so fast!" De yelled out as the shorter demon ran ahead of him. Fumar was from the west of Urifell. His skin was a rusty pink colour that always seemed to be dirty. He had long hair in pig tail plats, his hair was a baby pink. Which wasn't a common colour in Urifell making his heritage intriguing and yet Fumar never met his real parents, so it was left as a mystery.

"You're just running too slow-" Fumar bumped into a post and rubbed his head.

Fumar didn't know his parents… it was an odd concept to De, son of loving and happy parents. But from the curve in Fumar's horns and the stump at that halved his tail? He could tell his childhood was painful. No wonder Fumar always seemed so skinny.

 He was used to it.

De sped past him laughing at his bump with the post.

"Hey, no fair!" Fumar yelped out to him.

De continued running and then he looked back to see what Fumar was doing and he saw him holding his hand out and yelling at him in warnings. Just then De bumped into a construction worker who held a rope that many others worked to pull up straight. The worker stumbled and lost his footing and with the weight being increased on the other workers; they too fell.

The massive slab fell into a setting wall and it caused the half made structure to collapse.

His father…was a people person. He was always in town more than he was in the palace… and he spent his time helping services. Especially ones dedicated to his soldiers of the Harpaic War.

A crowd formed in the debris and De slowly began to realize his mistake. Fumar rushed to his side and gasped at the sight, he grabbed De's arm and tried to get his attention.

 "Princey!"

De walked forward, his pace staggered, his footsteps dragging in realization. No, this can't be happening! The people made a path for him and he continued to the inner circle of grieving Urian's. No..no no no. What had he done? He walks up to behind a woman bent over the debris everyone stared at. Their eyes resting now on De. Their gazes filled with mourning and tension.

The woman turned around and held the crown of the king in two bloody hands. Blood pooled and streamed through the cobblestone like a sick painting by cruel nature itself. Please… dad wake up..

The Prince of Urifell…has killed his father.

The queen rushed through the crowd as the familiar sound of her baby boy crying filled the air.

De held the crown in his hands as he lifted his head to the air and wailed in sorrow. Tears fell down the 9 year olds' face and his mother Mary-Ann ran to school up her broken child.

"My baby! What happened?!" She said, covering his precious face from the horrific sight. Through a broken and cracked voice he spoke the four most hated words he would ever utter. "I…I…I didn't m..mean to!!!" He sobbed louder as he let the tears fall thicker.

Queen Mary-Ann grew cold. Realising the man of her life was dead because of her son.

He remembered sitting in his room for days on end. He was never called for dinner and the butlers would eventually bring him some food, they were sorrowful, everyone was. The whole kingdom went into a depression and with it his mother lost land to undead, bandits and outlaws now only her city, Start'Klein was her territory, and she didn't care.

One day he was finally called and his mother wasn't the same. She loved Kein with all her heart. And her son had done this to her, her kingdom, her husband. De felt tears begin to plague his vision and he began to speak,

"Mama… I.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" He sobbed as he clutched his chest as breathing became a chore.

"Silence. You are too ready for the arrival of the Queen of Laugion, Queen Rodney has her children and you are to keep them out of the way and busy so me and Rodney may talk in peace" He demanded and De simply nodded.
