Overview

Asteria is not one kingdom, nor one culture — it is a sprawling world of diverse nations, mysterious islands, and ancient ruins.

Travelers often speak of three distinct spheres of civilization:

The Central Kingdoms – seats of power and politics.

The Outer Territories – wild, dangerous lands beyond human control.

The Uncharted – places whispered of in taverns but absent from any official map.

Below is a reference guide to key locations featured (or yet to appear) in POWER ON.

1. Kingdom of Klyrode

Type: Central Kingdom

Capital City: Dravemount

Known For: Elite knights, military discipline, steel-forged weaponry.

Description: The political and military backbone of the Central Kingdoms, Klyrode is famed for its iron-willed soldiers and fortress cities.

Its banners bear the sigil of a silver griffin on a crimson field, symbolizing vigilance and valor.

Many great battles — both in recorded history and in whispers — have been fought at its borders.

2. Vixuare Empire

Type: Central Empire

Capital City: Thalyssium

Known For: Arcane research, imperial expansion, opulent courts.

Description:

The Vixuare Empire is a realm of wealth, decadence, and ruthless ambition. Its scholars are famed for pioneering dangerous magical techniques, often blurring the line between discovery and blasphemy.

While Klyrode values martial honor, Vixuare thrives on political maneuvering and calculated warfare, conquering more through manipulation than brute force.

Its banner depicts a black wyvern clutching a golden crown, symbolizing dominance over both magic and land.

3. Puzzle Islands

Type: Archipelago (Uncharted Zone)

Capital/Center: Unknown

Known For: Forbidden waters, shifting geography, ancient puzzles and traps.

Description:

The Puzzle Islands are an enigma — a chain of islands hidden in thick fogs and treacherous currents.

Legends warn that those with Buddha or Harasen blood cannot set foot on Amahara, the largest and most feared island in the chain.

Sailors speak of humming winds, ghostly lights, and creatures that should not exist.

Only the most daring — or most foolish — make the journey.

4. Elarian Wild Forest

Type: Outer Territory

Known For: Mythical beasts, rare herbs, dangerous spirits.

Description:

A sprawling wilderness untouched by kingdom rule.

Dense canopies shroud the sunlight, and ancient stone ruins lurk beneath moss and root.

It is here that legends are said to be born… or buried.

The forest hides not only predators of fang and claw, but also secrets from wars older than living memory.

5. Sylvern Mistwood

Type: Outer Territory Forest

Known For: Perpetual mist, elusive spirit foxes, and moonlit phenomena.

Description:

The Sylvern Mistwood is blanketed in a silver fog that never lifts, even at midday.

Travelers claim the trees whisper in foreign tongues, and rare glimpses of glowing spirit foxes lead the brave — or lost — deeper within.

Some scholars believe the forest is a dimensional veil, overlapping with a hidden realm.

6. Ironfang Thicket

Type: Borderland Forest

Known For: Aggressive flora, steel-hard vines, and carnivorous blooms.

Description:

This forest marks the boundary between Klyrode and the Vixuare Empire.

Its dense undergrowth can shred armor, and strange plants have been known to "hunt" in packs.

Both kingdoms avoid fully clearing the Thicket, fearing the ecological balance may unleash something worse.

7. Ravine of Forgotten Echoes

Type: Outer Territory

Known For: Echoing winds that repeat voices not your own.

Description:

A jagged scar in the earth, stretching miles deep and lined with ruins of an ancient Buddha Clan temple.

The Ravine is a place of strange resonance — sounds twist, and sometimes, one hears whispers that don't belong to the living.

It is avoided by most travelers… and sought by those chasing forbidden knowledge.

8. Buddha Clan Ruins

Type: Historical Ruin

Known For: Shattered monasteries, relics of spiritual warriors, cursed sanctuaries.

Description:

Once home to the legendary Buddha Clan, these ruins lie scattered across Asteria — from mountaintops to hidden valleys.

The Buddha Clan was said to wield unmatched martial and spiritual arts, but their downfall came in a war few dare record.

Artifacts from these ruins can grant blessings… or destroy the mind of the one who wields them.

9. The Harasen Regiments

Type: Former Military Force / Legacy Territory

Known For: Fierce cavalry, honor-bound warfare, ancestral loyalty.

Description:

The Harasen Regiments were an elite warrior order sworn to defend their homeland against all invaders.

Though the Harasen Kingdom has long since fallen, scattered descendants still honor the old banners — crimson with twin silver blades.

Some serve as mercenaries, others as wandering protectors. In the wrong hands, however, their loyalty can be twisted.

10. Capital of Asteria – Asteria City

Type: Central Kingdom City-State

Known For: Trade, cultural exchange, political intrigue.

Description:

The beating heart of Asteria's trade and diplomacy.

Here, merchants from across the realms barter for spices, steel, and secrets alike.

Behind the dazzling streets lie alleys where coin and blood trade hands with equal ease.
