I was told that vampire blood can heal people. So the first thing I did when what's his name showed up was to ask him to take me to his friend. He did and I slit my wrist and mixed blood into his orange juice. The entire time the other guy asked me if it is a good idea. I ignored him as a rule and fed his friend. When I was done I wished him a good life and zipped back home. Neighbor showed up with his daughter and friend in tow. I told them that this is a private residence and I don't like to be disturbed. The man introduced himself as LJ and I told him to go home. He is not using my flat screen to watch sports. I had all sports channels removed from my condo. Both promised to not ask about my flat screen. I wished them goodnight as I walked back to my living room. They started to knock on my window but since it is painted they can't see inside.
I opened the door and LJ politely said, "May we please come inside." I replied, "No I am meditating and I need silence. It is not helping that you show up like this" he asked, "Anything we should worry about" I smiled, "Only if you want to live" the other one asked, "Are we linked to each other" I told him to stop reading vampire stories since all they have is fable. He is not a vampire and we are not linked. He touched my hand and I jumped. I saw a sinking boat surrounded by hungry sharks. I took a step back and shut the door in his face. The knocking reached the point of annoyance. I told them to leave me alone. The other one tried to talk and I told him his name is Jake. He asked if psychic abilities remain after transformation. I told him no. He told me that my face says I saw a bad moment in the future. I just want to be able to help people without being subject to a form of slavery.
I told him to forget we had this conversation or I will make him. He said that he can keep a secret. He has heard of the healing properties of vampire blood. No one ever tried to heal him. So as thanks for getting him off that bed after ten long years he promised to keep his mouth shut. He grabbed my hand and I saw him in military garb standing before a tribunal. He was asked pointed questions about me and he calmly kept his mouth shut. The mythical creatures came to his defense and soon he was exonerated. I looked at him, "I believe that you can keep your mouth shut. So my advice. Don't go fishing. Your boat is going to sink around a school of hungry great white sharks." Both winced at the imagery. I tried to close the door LJ asked me to trust him. He swore not to spill my secret. His daughter Amy swore to keep it a secret as well.
I told him that I am currently focusing on a world ending disaster so I can't talk to him right now. He asked if he could lend a hand. Jake said that he can help too. I told him that having humans is a tricky that I am not comfortable with. Maikoh showed up and said, "Having human sidekicks or friends is exactly what you need. If you shut yourself off than it is a point of no return." LJ and Jake smiled till I explain that Maikoh is a werewolf. They wanted to know why a werewolf is working with a vampire. He said that I am neutral. I don't chose sides and I have helped people regardless of who they were so he has my gratitude. I reminded him of his debt. He said, "Debt is cleared" he gave me a box that Ivar sent.
I asked him if he could tell me what the hollow is. He said that is a powerful artifact that is hidden from the world. I told him of a mass murder about to happen. The Cirque Du Monstra is trying to earn their rightful place amongst the mythological society. They are pariahs of the mythological world who have been evicted for doing heinous crimes. If they get their hands on certain artifacts they will get back to society and disaster will ensue. They are reaching for the hollow. This wiped the smile off his face and I thought he had the frown always so I had imagined his smile. He made a few calls and found out that the hollow was discovered and it was someone's private collection. It was stolen during the time the Cirque Du Monstra was around. They said that they will find it and hide it once more so it will not be used to hurt innocent people. They were sad to see that the hollow was calling out to me. Which means I am going to be sacrificed. I was asked to choose a side and I said, "I am neutral and proud"
Maikoh called his friends and they said that they will let the others know what is going on. An hour later the artifact was recovered and the Cirque Du Monstra were sent to the conclaves. A prison in the underworld. Maikoh wished me a good night and I turned to the others. They asked me if they could come inside. I told them that is best if they went home. They said their place was right here. They are not going anywhere. Amy pursed her lips. I started to laugh, "I forgot that kids can do that" Amy asked if she could come in. I told her that there is nothing in the fridge. I have no food. So I can't feed her. Her father pulled out a bag of burgers. I shook my head as I let them in. Amy ran to the fishtank while LJ cautioned his friend that I might assume that he may or may not bug the place. I told him that Esmeralda is a constant problem that refuse to leave me. Thankfully she is going to be fired for paranoia so my problem will die down a little.
I was summoned to Washington DC. Where I had to take a lie detector test and was allowed to go home. Esmeralda was fired for paranoia. She was told that if she harasses me again she is going to jail. One FBI agent came at me like he knows everything and asked me if my gift was still there I told him it wasn't. I am completely normal. I knew he was going to grab my arm. So I hoped that I would have no vision. My left eye twitched as he grabbed me. I asked him to let me go. He said he will let me go when I had vision. Patrick came with the judge and ordered the man to let me go or no evidence he present is admissible in court. He let go of me and gave me a warning. If my gift still exist as Esmeralda says so then my life as I know it is over. The judge says that threatening a citizen is a serious crime and will be punished duly. The man gave the judge a threatening look as he walked out the door. The others were saying it is such a pity that my gift is gone. They never met anyone that saw the entire picture. Usually all the others see is fragments and it is annoying. I wished they would do regular detective work and leave the rest of us alone. They gave me an 'are you stupid' look before they walked away.
