Haden raised his eyebrows. "Mom, think before you answer me."
Agnes pressed her lips together and turned silent.
"Before you decide which side to be on, don't appear in front of Zoey," Haden said. "This is for your own good."
Agnes' eyes turned red. "Haden, do you also think that it was wrong for me to save Jeanette?"
"I didn't say that. Don't accuse me."
Haden waved his hand. "I know you're close to Jeanette because you've brought her up since young. But I don't think you should force Zoey to see things from your perspective. I think it's unfair for her..."
