Zoey held onto Stacey's hand as they walked up the stage. After a quick glance, she realized that all the Millers were present except for Myles and Dorothy.
Haden noticed Zoey's glance and jokingly blew a kiss. "Zoey, you look gorgeous tonight."
With a twitch of her lips, Zoey withdrew her gaze.
Haden was an unconventional individual. If Zoey were to go against him, she would inevitably be causing herself a headache.
"Zoey, that man is so obnoxious. Look at the way he's staring at you," whispered Stacey when she noticed that man's actions.
"He's the second son of the Miller family," replied Zoey.
"Charles' brother?" Stacey glanced at Zoey. "Then he's your..."
"Yes." Zoey nodded. "Don't care about him. Just treat him as an irrelevant person."
"Okay," replied Stacey. Shortly after, she added, "Zoey, why are Charles' brothers so different from him?"
