"Look, that's them."
Amanda conjured up a couple of mice and said, "Previously, it was all their effort that put the Miller family's two old bastards in misery!"
"Mice?" Zoey asked with her eyes wide open.
As if she found someone who understood her, Amanda said, "Do you know them, Mrs. Yancey? Many people think rats and mice are the same, but they're actually very different."
"I've seen them before. They are gentle creatures, but can be quite shy at times.
How did you manage to catch them?" Zoey questioned.
Grinning, Amanda replied, "I was playing the flute in one corner of the hospital. I started seeing a few mice surrounding me. Mrs. Yancey, I wasn't kidding when I told you I can communicate with small animals. I can summon them whenever I want."
Zoey's interest piqued.
