Zoey's gaze flickered for a second, but she refused to tell the truth. "Aunt Yana, I didn't receive any bad news about Shawn. Should I give Leo a call?"
Instead of replying, Yana merely stared at her.
"Aunt Yana, please don't look at me like that. You're scaring me," Zoey joked.
"Leo and Yvonne are the ones who keep me updated on Shawn. They didn't say anything to me, so I really don't have a clue."
Perhaps because her expression was too sincere, Yana believed her and sighed in relief.
"That's good. That's good."
She smiled. "Zoey, I didn't mean to interrogate you. It's just really suspicious that Leo and Yvonne went on business trips one after another."
