When she heard Agnes' words, Zoey kept her silence with an awkward look.
Agnes scratched her head in embarrassment and clarified, "Please don't get me wrong, Zoey. I just have a strong feeling that I have known you for a long time whenever I look at you."
Zoey would have thought those words were too old-school if it was used by a man trying to flirt. However, her intuition told her that Agnes really meant what she said.
Not knowing how to respond, Zoey stated, "I'm tired, Mrs. Miller. So-"
"Get some rest then. We'll talk later when you're awake. See you soon." Agnes knew instinctively what Zoey intended and got up.
"See you later." Zoey breathed a sigh of relief soon as Agnes walked away. Since she had only met Agnes a few times, Zoey felt rather uneasy with her enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Agnes had a determined look on her face and decided to meet Henry.
"Where's Jeanette, Henry?" Agnes asked.
