What Darcy hated the most was to hear someone say that she was not as good as Zoey.
With her hands on the ground, she glared at Kayden fiercely and fumed, "In what way am I not as good as your mother? Both my parents are alive, and I have a harmonious family. As for her, she caused her father's death and gave birth to you bastards before getting married. If she didn't meet Leo Yancey seven years later, you would've been bastards without a father, and she would've been a single mother who would be constantly mocked and laughed at by others. How is she any better than me?"
Kayden's eyes narrowed, and he sprinted over. Before Darcy could react, he stepped on her hands. Kayden then put in some force in his step, and Darcy's screams echoed through the whole room.
"Let go of me!" Darcy shouted at the top of her lungs.
Her hands were hurting so much that she started to wonder if her bones were broken.
