The six Espers inside the dungeon looked at each other when Noah Miles showed up with a pair of swords. The man started swinging his swords, cutting through the monsters in front of him without any emotion showing on his face.
One of them, Maeve—who's an Esper from Napa—walked up to Finn from Short Beach. They were both Combat Espers who had trained together. Maeve and the other Espers were asked to help Noah Miles close the new dungeon that had popped up today.
They actually worked together before. Maeve and Finn were two of the few people who could get close to and talk casually with Noah Miles, who was known for being arrogant to other people.
"Did something happen to him?" She asked, looking confused.
Finn looked over at her and gave a casual shrug. "Did you feel that too? His mood is worse than usual." He said. Finn pulled out his arrows from his DS, started targeting the monsters one by one, and then flew behind Noah.
