Somebody had actually tried to make his Ariel believe that Tristan was capable of cheating on her. And the worst part was they had very nearly succeeded. Had Ariel had less belief in him, she would have stayed quiet about the video. Suffering in silence. The silence then morphing into resentment. Their marriage falling apart, because being cheated on, was not something that people ever really got over.
Even those who stayed in marriages where cheating had occurred and talked about how they had forgiven their spouse and all of that, were not truly being one hundred percent honest. There was always that tiny part of them that remembered this thing of the betrayal.
