Tristan had always followed a strict early morning routine. One designed to have him operating at his peak.
Or at least back then he had thought that he was operating at his very best. As it turned out, Tristan had been nowhere near working at his best level. His old routine of getting up early in the morning, hitting the gym, showering, eating breakfast with Ariel had been okay.
But now he knew that he had been very lacking. The new routine consisted of him getting up early, having spectacular sex, hitting the shower, eating breakfast while playing footsie under the table with Ariel. The two of them pretending they were somewhere public, and could be caught at any moment. Then from there he headed to work and proceeded to obliterate all of the tasks handed to him. Ever since he had started having sex with his wife, nothing fazed Tristan.
