Location: China — Northern Border
A convoy of military vehicles had established a defensive checkpoint along a mountain road near China's northern border. Armored transports lined both sides of the passage, while several tanks blocked the road ahead. Dozens of soldiers stood behind makeshift barricades, their weapons aimed toward a group of unfamiliar figures approaching through the falling snow.
There were only twenty Frost Knights.
Their armor was covered in ancient ice, and each carried a weapon unlike anything the soldiers had encountered. Despite the tanks and heavily armed soldiers standing in their path, the knights continued walking forward without the slightest hesitation, their footsteps echoing against the frozen mountain road.
"HALT!" a Chinese officer shouted through a loudspeaker. "You are entering a restricted military area! Identify yourselves immediately!"
The leading Frost Knight stopped, his violet eyes settling upon the officer standing behind the barricade.
