The military installation was considered one of Russia's strongest defensive strongholds, equipped with advanced surveillance systems, armored divisions, and enough firepower to repel a large-scale invasion. Its personnel were trained to respond to conventional warfare and supernatural threats, but the situation unfolding beyond its perimeter was unlike anything they had encountered before.
Inside the command center, officers hurried between their stations as warning signals echoed throughout the room. Surveillance drones transmitted live footage of unidentified creatures moving across the surrounding region, while radar operators struggled to track their growing numbers.
"Commander! You need to see this!"
A young officer called out from his station, his face pale as he stared at the monitor.
"What is it? Have you identified the enemy?" the commander asked, approaching him.
"Sir, just... look at this."
The officer enlarged the footage.
