"Kids, stop playing games and come here. Auntie has something to tell you," Kate clapped her hands and called out loudly.
Adam and Dean sat shoulder to shoulder, completely ignoring her. Hilary glanced at her once, but when she saw the boys weren't responding, she turned back to the game as well. Linda didn't even bother to look up.
"Children, I said stop playing! Come on, come here and listen to Auntie!" Kate clapped her hands again, and when no one moved, she simply turned off the power switch.
Adam and Dean glared at her furiously.
"Auntie, I have gold bars. You're not getting any now!" Dean threatened, his childish voice full of indignation.
Kate's eyes lit up at once.
Dean was richer than she was!
"Dean, my darling, Auntie adores you," she cooed, hugging him tightly and showering his face with kisses. "But if you don't listen to Auntie, there's nothing I can do. Your daddy asked me to look after you these few days, you know."
