"Hey, I need to tell you something," Claire said coolly, standing on the opposite side of the dining table.
"What is it?" Gilbert looked up from his porridge, his gaze teasing, a charming smile tugging at his lips.
Claire's face flushed again.
This bastard, flirting first thing in the morning as if he were in , she was truly fed up with him.
"It's like this," she said seriously. "Yesterday, I went to see Butler Lo. I plan to have him return to the Watson Castle as the housekeeper."
"Butler Lo?" Gilbert paused for a moment, then raised his brows. "That's it?"
"Yes."
"Next time, you can handle such small matters yourself. No need to report to me."
"Alright, then it's settled." Claire nodded, satisfied with his approval, and turned to leave.
"Oh, and give Butler Lo a triple raise. He's been with the Watson family for years, he deserves it," Gilbert added casually.
Claire blinked in surprise. "Huh, was this man finally growing a conscience?"
