"Hmm, since it's our first time meeting, how about Uncle treats you to something fun?" Alvin said with a warm smile. He had taken an instant liking to the clever, adorable little girl.
"Okay!" Hilary beamed, clearly delighted.
Alvin turned to Claire. "What do you think? Let's head to a different hotel. There's one nearby with a kids' play area."
Seeing Hilary's excitement and knowing she hadn't gone to kindergarten that day, Claire nodded in agreement.
"Come here, Hilary. Let Uncle carry you," Alvin said, holding out his arms.
Hilary giggled and ran toward him without hesitation. Alvin scooped her up and spun her around in a playful circle. Her laughter rang out, pure and unrestrained.
