While they all made their way out of the compound, with Cathy being dragged roughly by a few of the policemen to the police van, while the others searched the house for Cathy's supposed security men, Nicole couldn't help but wonder how Cathy had managed to fool everyone, including herself. She hadn't stopped thinking about the fact that she was with Cathy while her children were taken forcefully from school by men who was sent by Cathy. She should have known better and not trust Cathy easily and wholeheartedly, especially after Clara.
Clara!
The thought of Clara had brought a bitter taste to her mouth, and she readily stopped herself from thinking too much about Clara, and how close they had been before and after she broke up with Clark.
Clark!
She should really quit thinking at this point, about Cathy or Clara or Clark. They were no good for her, and because of them she doubted if anyone would ever be good for her.
