All four cars went back through the road we had come in, and I couldn't hide my disappointment. I was tired, and already dreaming about a hot bath in the tub, and now we are heading back.
Maybe only Leonard's men should head back while the rest of us continue our journey home. But I could only state my opinion in my head since I brought this on all of us.
Leonard's phone began to ring just then, and he answered it, after looking at the screen for a brief moment.
"What's going on?" It was unmistakably the voice of Idris. He must have been surprised by the sudden reversal.
"Nicole received a note too, and there's an address in it." Leonard replied.
Within the next thirty minutes, we were at our destination, 3C Twin-avenue. It was an abandoned building. The cars were parked at a distance from the main building, and while every last one of Leonard's men stepped out of the car, fully armed, Leonard and I remained inside, and watched them from the car.
