"How much do you intend to sell for?" Leonard asked, and I raised an eyebrow. I had no intention of selling the shares to him. The idea was to give it to him just like that, but he seemed willing, eager even to buy, and since that was the case, then let's do this.
"How about you pay double the amount with which I bought it?" I asked with a mischievous grin. I stared hard at Leonard, expecting him to raise an eyebrow but he didn't. He instead looked undaunted while his lips spread in a smirk. Maybe I should remind him that it was a whole lot of money.
"How about I pay three times the amount instead?" Leonard asked, and I rolled my eyes at him. Now he is messing with me for sure.
"You can't do that," I said with a laugh then stopped when I caught sight of Leonard's expression. He was actually serious!
