Chapter 151: The Correct Way to Unlock the Path of Preservation
Fifty-two large and small squares across Belobog will host a grand seven-day celebration, marking today as
Belobog's official holiday. The ice and snow that have frozen the planet's surface for nearly a millennium are melting. This festival is named the "Snowmelt Festival"!
In the future, the Snowmelt Festival will be Belobog's most important and grandest holiday.
Overjoyed, the people immediately immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere. Various parasols, dining tables, and stools filled the streets,
fireworks and salutes burst simultaneously, and flowers adorned the thoroughfares.
Young and old, men and women alike, enjoyed the celebration amidst laughter and cheer. Everyone was filled with hope for the future.
Caelus and Bronya, the main protagonists of the event, had already returned to Qlipoth Fort. Even Bronya, who had legitimately and completely become
the Grand Guardian, couldn't help but be startled by the tsunami-like fervor of the populace.
If measured by the data of the cosmos, after this wave, Belobog's cohesion would increase by at least several dozen times.
"Caelus!"
"Caelus!"
Before they arrived, lively and energetic, or crisp and melodious voices came first. March 7th and Stelle burst
through the main doors and rushed into the Grand Guardian's Palace.
Behind them followed Dan Heng, Welt, Great Seele, and Seele.
After providing energy to the Fourth Divine Key, Seele used her last remaining power to disperse into a quantum state, returning to the Express
Crew's vicinity.
Because Caelus had captured everyone's attention, no one noticed Seele's brief departure throughout the entire process, including
Seele herself. Seele had deliberately timed her consciousness'ss return to the Honkai world for a few minutes.
"What was that gift all about?"
"Why didn't you mention it at all before?"
March 7th and Stelle approached Caelus from left and right, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him wildly.
Even Dan Heng, usually the most composed, looked at Caelus with subtle astonishment.
"Stop shaking, stop shaking! I just wanted to give everyone a surprise too, you know."
Caelus crossed his arms, each hand holding one of March 7th's and Stelle's hands, making them stop shaking: "The main credit goes to Bronya...
Silver Wing. I just helped her out a bit."
With parallel world counterparts together, the issue of addressing them was minor. Silver Wing naturally suggested using a codename
to distinguish herself.
"Just as I thought..."
A certain suspicion in his heart seemed to be confirmed. Welt adjusted his glasses, looking up at the silver-haired beauty who had changed into her familiar Valkyrie
attire, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, a subtle smile playing on her lips.
"Could this power that can reshape a planet's ecology be that thing?"
"Woah, Uncle Yang, you knew about it?"
Hearing this, March 7th immediately moved closer to Welt, asking curiously.
"As expected of Mr. Welt. Well, wasn't that quite a surprise?"
Silver Wing gave a faint smile, her lighthearted tone causing Welt's mouth to twitch slightly.
It was certainly shocking enough, but 'surprise'... Where was the surprise in this? This was goddamn fright!
The psychological impact on Old Yang was absolutely no less than on Rand Duck.
The moment Caelus pointed towards the sky, Welt detected that surge of energy, recoiling in shock and nearly
falling to the ground.
Holy crap, a Great Honkai!
Is Honkai still f***ing chasing me!?
It didn't take a second for Welt to determine that the energy in the sky was Honkai energy. The terrifying fluctuation in energy levels
had undoubtedly reached the standard of a Great Honkai.
Just thinking about the possibility of a Great Honkai outbreak on Jarilo-VI, Welt's composure was on the verge of collapsing.
Fortunately, it wasn't a true Great Honkai descent.
"It really is the Fourth Divine Key... but how did you—"
Thankfully, Welt soon realized that the azure light pouring down from the heavens was very familiar.
Previously, after the Stigmata Project concluded, New Schicksal had also used the Fourth Divine Key to correct ecological problems caused by the intertwining of Imaginary Dreamscape
with reality.
What puzzled him now was how Bronya from a parallel world had brought the Fourth Divine Key to this world.
"The Fourth Divine Key and I coincidentally traveled to this world together, but it seemed to get stuck in a dimensional rift.
Caelus found it and helped me retrieve it."
Uttering her pre-prepared explanation, Silver Wing subtly raised her delicate hand, and an irregularly shaped, dark purple indefinite-level
cube appeared in her grasp.
The cube was the key to the Fourth Divine Key, capable of remotely controlling the satellite that slowly orbited with the planet's rotation.
This item wasn't entirely useless in combat; after all, it possessed the power to rectify planetary ecosystems, making it easy to create
typhoons and hurricanes.
Its power, however, was unlikely to trouble Herrscher-level beings, but it was highly efficient when used against buildings and ordinary people.
"Is that so?"
His gaze slightly narrowed upon seeing the cube. Welt turned his head to Caelus, and after receiving Caelus's nod of confirmation, he pondered briefly,
without much suspicion.
After all, if Seele possessed the Abyss Flower, why couldn't Bronya from a parallel world have the Fourth Divine Key?
"So what riddles are you two speaking?"
Stelle, who only half-understood Divine Keys, rolled her eyes.
"That is a very special piece of equipment."
Silver Wing and Welt then took turns explaining Divine Keys and the function of the Fourth Divine Key to everyone.
Finally, Silver Wing looked at Bronya: "When I leave, I won't take the Fourth Divine Key with me. If there are no special circumstances in the future,
you can keep it on Jarilo-VI to continue restoring the ecosystem."
It's really inconvenient to carry, and more importantly, it's pretty useless to take along.
"Thank you!"
Words could not express the gratitude in Bronya's heart.
"Oh you, don't be so formal with me."
To make others believe, one must first believe themselves. Silver Wing completely regarded herself as the Bronya from a parallel world.
Unless the final act of the play concludes, she would perfectly play her role anytime, anywhere. That is—a qualified masked imposter.
"Looks like we'll be busy again..."
After the decisive battle with Cocolia, the urgent political affairs had barely been dealt with two days prior, only for an unimaginable
great surprise to arrive.
The ice and snow had melted; warm spring had arrived.
The previously strained land planning suddenly became stress-free. The entire city could expand outwards. They could try to reclaim and cultivate farmland, but it was unknown
whether ordinary crops could grow normally at present.
Bronya was determined to lead Belobog in revitalizing their homeland and forging a future.
Of course, Bronya would not neglect her duties as a fiancée either. She had to use everything to repay Caelus and
herself.
Bronya began to bury herself in work. Silver Wing did not assist her this time. Pela was promoted to Grand Guardian's Assistant upon Bronya's ascension
to her position.
Her future work would be to assist the Grand Guardian in handling decrees within Qlipoth Fort.
Bronya also invited Natasha, the former Wildfire leader. Unfortunately, Natasha's ambitions lay elsewhere. She had taken on the role in a time of crisis,
but now that the crisis was resolved, her future was bright.
Therefore, Natasha unequivocally declined Bronya's invitation.
She wished to continue her profession as a doctor, treating the sick and saving lives.
The only thing that puzzled Natasha was how Great Seele's gaze towards her became increasingly complex, and even March 7th
looked at her with surprise. Stelle's attitude towards her was even more passionate (and suggestive).
More than once, the three of them had seen "Natasha" secretly heading to meet Caelus, her demeanor clearly indicating
she didn't want to be discovered.
As a result, neither Great Seele nor March 7th felt comfortable directly calling Natasha out.
Natasha resigned from her position as Wildfire leader, handing over authority to Oleg and Great Seele. Bronya wanted to teach Great
Seele how to handle official duties.
The outcome was predictable.
"These things are so hard to learn, I feel like my brain is going to explode!"
"I'll just stick to being the captain of the Royal Guard and the Vanguard!"
With Great Seele's "grab a scythe and get to work" personality, she was clearly not cut out to be a civil official.
At Silver Wing's suggestion, Bronya, along with pillars like Pela and Gepard, discussed and formulated Belobog's
first Five-Year Plan.
The entire civilization was in an unprecedented atmosphere of prosperity, and everyone began working towards building a new
and beautiful homeland.
Sending out the final ripple signaled the end of the full-realism strategic planning game. Silver Wing moved into the villa estate she gifted to the heroes,
and began operating with the Astral Express Crew.
The trailblazing mission on Jarilo-VI had thus come to a complete and successful end.
Two weeks later, the Express would set sail for its next destination.
During this time, some traveled, some sightseeing, some dealt with private matters. Silver Wing also needed to adjust the settings and operating mode of the Fourth Divine Key
beforehand.
Belobog's construction speed was rapid.
With records from Svarog, and under Clara's assistance and countless helper robots, Welt successfully repaired
the Creation Engine.
During its centuries-long golden age, hundreds of Creation Engines meticulously maintained and repaired Jarilo-VI,
this beautiful garden-like planet.
Although now only the last one, painstakingly repaired and salvaged, remained, the Creation Engine, back to its original function, displayed
terrifying efficiency.
This thing was never intended to be a combat mech. The true name of the Creation Engine was—Geological Transformation Engineering
Unit.
Stelle had found the correct way to unlock the Path of Preservation, awakening an Acquired Concrete Saint Physique, especially after the Creation Engine was repaired.
Every day, she helped pour concrete at the construction site, standing atop the Creation Engine, using her Flame Lance to control the large mech and till the earth, like
a child who had received a toy excavator.
March 7th and Stelle, together, delighted in it.
A perfect labor force that required no pay and worked diligently, more cost-effective than recent graduates, highly welcomed by Belobog's
reconstruction team.
Caelus initially didn't have much interest, until the Stellaron Core unearthed crystals from tilling the earth. He immediately lost his composure, putting
on a hard hat and rushing to snatch the Flame Lance and control.
However, the Stellaron Core possessed immense brute strength; Caelus couldn't win. He was even lifted by Stelle, who controlled the Creation Engine, much like a badminton Naxi sister
by her collar.
Caelus immediately decided to show the Stellaron Core his might; he would exact harsh revenge!
As for methods of revenge?
Naturally, it involved stacking Bronya and Silver Wing into a stack, performing a double-slit interference experiment to summon a giant jet!
However, tonight's experiment seems to have encountered a slight mishap.
