"Corruption Beasts? But I've never seen any Corruption Beast like this before…" the host, whose name was Velkan, thought to himself.
Then he turned and looked at Rynor, who also seemed confused. It was clear he wasn't involved in this attack either.
"We'll talk later, Mr. Rynor. Right now, I have something else to deal with," he said with a smile and immediately ordered all the bandits to be on high alert and eliminate the intruders.
Rynor simply nodded and got ready to leave. He had no intention of getting involved in whatever this situation was—regarding the weapon… he would return for it later.
