Chapter 80 - CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE

"LEAH!" Vivianne called then.

Vivianne saw it; she knew it was tormenting the souls present. It did not respond to them. Sharlene sensed its vengeful presence.

"What have you done here?" Leah's voice was so cold, as was the look he gave them.

"Please, Leah, it's all over; the details of your death will soon become clear." Vivianne could only say she wanted to convince her because she knew the price of everything Leah had done.

She initially laughed softly at them, but her laughter grew louder and echoed throughout the place. The people there were having a difficult time, especially Sheila.

"Don't interfere here; leave while you still can." This is their warning.

"Leah, we won't come out of here if you don't return to your true self." She heard Sharlene say.

"Return? Will I return to my true self?" Leah laughed at them. "I won't go back! I will never go back to the way things were!" Strong winds threatened to carry them away.

"What else do you want to do, Leah? What more do you want?! You've already gotten your revenge; they've realized their mistakes towards you. Isn't that enough for them?" Vivianne asked, gripping Sharlene tightly.

"I want all of us here to disappear! They can't just leave me alone in this darkness! They haven't paid for the sins they've committed against me yet! They owe it to me and my future child! I won't stop! I won't stop! There is no pain like what they did to me!" She said this to them.

"We know that, Leah, we know that. We saw your suffering, the betrayal, but enough; don't dirty your hands and play in the mud with them anymore." Vivianne was pleading with her.

"No!" Leah refused, shaking her head at them. "Go back, go back!" Her voice was extremely angry.

"Leah, I told you before, I will make it up to you. I will come back. Forgiveness will set you free; just return to your true self. We've found you; it's over. We have found the baby you buried among the innocent people's bodies. Please, come back."

She shook her head at her; with every step Vivianne took to get closer to Leah, she moved further away from her. "Leah!" she said.

"Justice on earth is not enough; besides, this demon escaped, didn't he? Because he was fortunate to die just when he was about to be tried." A man appeared, bound and writhing in pain; he couldn't scream, as if his breath would be cut off.

"I will give them what they deserve. I will give them the punishment they have never tasted in their entire lives, Vivianne."

Vivianne unexpectedly fell due to an unnoticed pinch on her leg.

"Only the Lord will punish them, Leah." That's what she heard from Sharlene.

She was trying to stand up then; she didn't know how many hours she had been away from her body. They need to convince Leah, who is being stubborn with them now.

"I am God here, Sharlene. I am the one who decides." This made her say to them,.

"You are not the one to give the right punishment, Leah. Leah, I hope you don't let your anger consume you." She heard Sharlene trying her best to convince Leah.

"What do you know, Sharlene? I am becoming your ally because you know what I'm going through." Leah said while looking at Sharlene.

"Yes, I know what you're going through, Leah; I know how you feel right now; I know the feeling of being betrayed and played with, but, Leah, we can't let our anger defeat us." She sees Sharlene shake her head.

She saw her grandmother Felicia trying to escape; it alarmed her.

"Not on my watch, Felicia." Leah couldn't help but say it. She was the one who received a whipping instead of her grandmother.

Her grandmother Felicia stared at her.

"Don't think that I did that for you, Grandma; I hated you back then. We were just stopping Leah from getting her hands dirty." She said it to her grandma.

Felicia just smiled and left without a word.

"Felicia!" Manuel would have chased this, but Leah stopped it.

"Don't, Leah. If you're frustrated with me, direct your resentment towards me, the loss of our future child. Please, don't do this anymore. Go back to the real Leah I used to know. Please come back to us." Manuel is now beseeching Leah.

"No! No!" Vivianne saw that three souls had escaped along with the old man Raymundo. Only Sheila did not escape, because she had lost consciousness.

She heard Manuel endure the repeated whipping without uttering a word. Suddenly, Sharlene hugged Leah, which surprised Leah.

"Vivianne, take Sheila there and go back; her mind can't handle it anymore; something might happen to her." Sharlene said to her.

"Sharlene." She shook her head.

"I'll follow. I'll follow, Vivianne; you go ahead." This was all Sharlene could say.

Vivianne hadn't even spoken yet when some force sucked her back into her real body. She immediately felt the aftereffect caused by her prolonged absence from her real body.

Sharlene's body was there, Sheila's consciousness still hadn't returned, and she felt the room spinning around her. She needs to go back; she needs to return to Sharlene.

"Sharlene." Sharlene quickly approached the woman. She felt the liquid coming from her nose.

Nosebleed? When did I last have a nosebleed like this? Vivianne found herself questioning in her mind.

She was groaning from the pain in her head, accompanied by her dizziness, to the point that she was almost about to vomit now.

"Where is Sis Sharlene? Why hasn't Sharlene come back yet?" Tashia asked her in surprise.

She looked intently at Tashia, calming herself first.

"Mommy."

"Ashley, don't touch your mom, not for now." Vivianne shook her head.

"Keep the child away from Sharlene," she even said while wiping the blood dripping from her nose.

"Sis, your body can't handle it yet." Tashia said.

She was grateful that Justine immediately took the child.

"Mom, Mom," Ashley called out.

"Ash, I will come back; I'll fetch your mother from there." d...

"Don't come back yet, Vivianne. Please explain to us what the situation is and why she hasn't returned yet." Martin asked her.

"Leah is going wild; she can no longer control the anger she feels, especially towards Raymundo. We are trying to calm Leah down, but her anger and desire for revenge against those who hurt her are intense." She explained what she saw.

"The souls of the three, Raymundo, Angely, and Felicia, have escaped; we let them go, so Sharlene was left behind to calm Leah, along with Manuel. I don't know what happened anymore because my body pulled me back, and my mind couldn't take it anymore, but Sharlene can't stay there for long." She could only say….

"Aunt Vivianne, I'm going to Mom, I'm going to Mom, I'm going to talk to Tita Leah, Aunt Vivianne, please." Ashley was already crying, struggling against Justine at that time.

"No! You are not allowed to go there, Ashley!" she heard Tashia say. Her hand was trembling.

"I'll go with Sharlene; you all stay here." She heard her sister say.

"Tashia, you're afraid to travel." She said to her sister.

"Yes, I'm afraid to travel, but I can. Your body is tired, and your mind is tired, Vivianne. Don't worry, I'll bring back Sharlene." She even smiled.

She saw Tashia walk towards Sharlene's body, hold her palm, and suddenly she lost consciousness.

"Ashley!" Martin shouted, immediately grabbing Tashia's hand.

"You take care of this for now, Vivianne, that child!" Martin said.

"I'll talk to Tita Leah." She heard Lawrence.

She just sighed. Justine suddenly helped her sit down and immediately carried Sheila's limp body to the bed.

"Are you not going to follow? So that you would believe?" She asked the other person.

"Who will watch over you here? Besides, the two of them are already there, and they can protect my cousin and Ashley. Why should I go there?" Justine just asked her.

Vivianne didn't say anything anymore. "I know they will be safe there."

"You have faith in them, don't you?" Justine asked her.

"Yeah." That's all she said. Suddenly, her head started to hurt.

"Take a break for now." That's all it heard. It sat in the rocking chair, waiting for whoever it was .

Her eyelids were getting heavier, and she fell into a deep sleep.
