Compared to shinobi, Samurais follow a certain code of honour. Usually due to their ideologies, where loyalty is put above all else, they were not good at seeing through the deceiving of the other people. It was the main reason why local lords and nobles trusted them more than shinobi. Shinobi can easily backstab anyone after getting enough money. But once a Samurai pledged their loyalty to you, they would stick to you for the rest of their life.
By choosing to spare the Samurai guard in front of the door, Horoi was trying to achieve two things. First of all, he wanted the Samurai to become the spokesperson after he was done killing the Daimyo. In fact during the Chaos even if the disguised hidden cloud shinobi killed everyone else they must not kill that single Samurai. That way, they could show him as proof of the attack of the leaf and then launch an official war against the hidden leaf village and by extent, the land of Fire. After dealing with the samurai, Horoi slowly went towards the bed chamber of the Daimyo. Upon reaching in front of the massive bed Horoi saw his target. The man was sleeping naked with two of his wives. Both of them were also naked with the aftermath of their messy love making all over the bed.
Horoi took out a simple Kunai and headed towards them. There was no reason for them to suffer for long. So including his blade with a little bit of wind nature Chakra Horoi intended to behead them with a simple single slash. That way they wouldn't have to suffer.
Going to one side of the bed, Horoi swung his blade.

*Clang*
Instead of wind nature Chakra cutting flesh and bone, the sound of metal hitting metal echoed throughout the entire room. Slowly the previously invisible barrier started to become visible.
Horoi's eyes widened in horror as he tried to retreat immediately. But it was already too late. Not only was he trapped inside a similar looking barrier that was just protecting the Daimyo, but the Daimyo was also starting to wake up.
*Clap* *clap* *Clap* *clap*
As someone walked inside the luxurious chamber while clapping, Daimyo fell asleep again.
Horoi's eyes narrowed towards the shadows.
And soon he was able to see the figure in the darkness. It was the same kunoichi whose face he had used to deceive the guard outside the chamber.
"You are here to assassinate Daimyo….. then why do you need the rest of the Kumo shinobi outside ? And you used transformation jutsu to take my face before knocking out that guard." Usagi stepped out of the shadow and told Horoi.
But Horoi ignored her and tried to break out of the barrier. Unfortunately for him the barrier was not something he could break that easily. In fact no matter how hard he tries, the barrier will never break. Finding himself in a disadvantageous position, Horoi looked back at the busty blonde kunoichi.
"Breaking that barrier will be impossible. Why don't you cooperate ? I will let you go after you answer a few of my questions."Usagi offered.
"You think I would open my mouth like that ? I would rather die !" Horoi shouted as he started going through another set of hand seals for specific suicidal type jutsu. But then the barrier surrounding him, started to glow faintly as a few specific patterns appeared on it.
But then he realized that he couldn't feel his Chakra in the first place. Panic started to set in when despite going through all the hand seals he couldn't even move his Chakra. In such a situation he couldn't even use the suicidal pill. It was not an option considering It wouldn't be considered as killed by the enemy. They would need at least some excuse to launch an attack on the leaf team. And suicide was not one of him. But when he tried to stab himself with the kunai knife.
But he failed again. The barrier started to glow for the second time as another set of new symbols appeared on it. Not only that but also its previous pale pink color changed into pale blue color. And in the next moment his body was completely paralyzed.
Horoi dropped on the ground like a puppet with its strings cut. He couldn't even use the poison to end his life anymore.
"So this is your choice, huh ?" Usagi purposefully lifted the barrier as she created a shadow clone to carry the man into the personal quarters of the hidden leaf shinobi. The barrier she had set up on the ship was a very special type of barrier. It's not only protected by ship but also acts as an alert system. Usagi had connected the alarm function of the seal with the four members of the leaf team. And when Horoi took down Kuro, it instantly alerted the rest of them. So Usagi immediately came to check on him. That's when her eyes fell on Horoi, who was heading towards the quarter of Daimyo.
And now she had managed to catch one of the assassins from the hidden cloud. Now she had known that the two teams of the cloud Ninja who were waiting outside, were just there to attack. Not to mention the boat tailing them from a distance also had people with hostile intentions towards them.
And according to the suggestion from the great sage, the cloud shinobi were there to falsely accuse the hidden leaf for secretly assassinating the Daimyo of the land of sea. It was a basic tactic of the hidden cloud so Usagi was not surprised to hear the deduction.
With the trap already set, Usagi had a very simple but brutal solution.
After deactivating her mangekyou sharingan Usagi reached the quarters assigned to the leaf team and left the prisoner with a shadow clone. Usagi was not a genjutsu expert. So she had no other option but to rely on the shadow clone Jutsu to do the job. Using her multi-shadow clone jutsu, she started knocking out all the samurai and the servants present on board.
After that, she made Duy and Kuro wake up. Her plan was very simple. Eliminate everyone except for the high ranking officials. Then use the excuse of the genjutsu to make everyone believe that there was no Kumo team of shinobi in the first place.
With such a plan in mind, Usagi woke up Duy and Kuro.
"So they are trying to kill the Daimyo of the land of Sea, and blame it on our shoulders ?" Kuro asked with disbelief. As one of the members of the Sarutobi clan, Kuro was well aware of politics. So he could guess where the situation would be going once their plan succeeded.
"Exactly. So here is my plan. Keep patroling the ship and don't let any of them wake up until I am finished with the Kumo team." Usagi told the two of them.
"But can you do it alone ? They are prepared to attack us at any moment. Your attack will not catch them by surprise." Kuro asked Usagi.
Hiruzen had not recommended Kuro randomly. Despite having only a chunin level of strength, Kuro was very smart. In fact he had good knowledge about the promising shinobi of the hidden leaf. The Sarutobi clan simply didn't become the most populated clan because of Hiruzen's embezzlement of the funds of the hidden leaf village. Compared to the other Clans, the Sarutobi clan reproduced like rabbits. And despite having not many promising shinobi, the less powerful clan members usually build connections with powerful figures of the village and stay under their care during the time of crisis. It was the main reason why their death toll was very low and their numbers were very high. So Kuro being one of these types of members, knew about promising young shinobi like Minato and Usagi. So he didn't doubt that the girl could probably take out multiple shinobi at once. But he had his doubts because the hidden cloud had come fully prepared in order to eradicate them all.
"Don't worry about me. Even if they are prepared It wouldn't matter. Just make sure that nobody wakes up before I am done. This guy here was transformed into me when he attacked the personal guards of the Daimyo. We need to convince them that all of it was just a part of genjutsu. Shiro here will also assist you." Usagi dismissed the concern of Kuro. Then she turned towards Duy who was clearly restless and was ready for some action.
"Duy, make sure to protect the Daimyo at all costs. If anyone slips past me, don't let them harm our client." Usagi ordered Duy.
"Don't worry ! Who is the power of youth, I will not disappoint you !" Duy replied enthusiastically.
"That's good to hear. I'll be back as quickly as possible." Usagi told the others as she used body flicker jutsu to leave.
