"As long as your short film either shows the personality and traits of the Pokémon or demonstrates the emotional bond with its Trainer, it'll be a strong entry. That kind of story always earns high scores."
Shauna had previously made it clear to everyone that her goal was to be a top Pokémon Performer. Thanks to that, she had a solid grasp of both visual storytelling and performance fundamentals, which made her a valuable guide for the others.

After hearing Shauna's advice, both boys fell into thoughtful silence, each already visualizing their own short film concept.

Her idea was to use the theme of a nature documentary to highlight Sandshrew's calm demeanor and natural affinity with its environment, allowing its charm to emerge through gentle companionship and shared curiosity while filming.
For Xiaolan, who had been showing promise in the summer camp's earlier challenges, Shauna gave creative suggestions tailored to her Pokémon's typing and temperament, encouraging her to explore themes of trust and cooperation through staged training scenes. However, when it came to Serena, Shauna held back from giving detailed advice.
Because Serena aspired to become a Pokémon Performer, Shauna believed it was important she learn how to think independently and develop her own style. Creativity and individuality were core traits of every great performer. For Serena to succeed, she would need to forge her own vision, not follow someone else's direction.

"Bzzzz~" Ash's Drone Rotom light blue, closely matching Froakie's skin tone buzzed into the air and hovered just above Ash's head. The color synergy gave Ash confidence that the unit was well-matched to his partner's visual style.
