I placed the Red Rune stone to the second empty socket of his Rune Tree. Soon, the dark energy became powerful as it began to feed upon Arthur's core. At first, the energy became large enough to consume him, but soon, the darkness slowly disappeared, being replaced by a light so bright that I felt its warmth.
The corrupted energy dissipated. Arthur's Force successfully eliminated the dark energy that was corrupting it.
Soon, countless amount of energy came rushing towards his core, making his body hover in the air as he received the energy with open arms. The arrays and Runes I placed shivered, threatening to be destroyed as it cannot contain the amount of energy coming in the circle formation.
'Damn it! Arthur, are you okay?' My words choked as what happened next surprised me.
Arthur activated his Limitless Force to drain his old Force away so that the new Force can be stored inside him. The room quaked with intensity due to the high amount of energy filling the space around us.
'This is not good. I can feel his core cracking. I have to stop it!'
As if hearing my thoughts, the energy pushed me away from Arthur, hitting my back against the wall. I looked up just to see Arthur coughing out blood while his veins were visible, ready to be popped.
'Energy Poisoning! Damn it, I knew this was dangerous!'
