Once I reached the surface, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves, so I have complete focus on my carvings. I also activated the three Runes that I needed for this process. The Orange Rune so that I can use the Force expertly without messing up; the Yellow Rune so that I can understand Arthur's core, especially its size and thickness, while the Green Rune to protect the two of us from Energy Poisoning.
'Arthur, you have another mission to do for me.' I said.
'What is it?' He asked.
I sent him the blueprints of the Rune Tree we were building through Wi-Fi Link. 'That is what we are building to your core. I want you to guide me, step by step, by describing the blueprints to me. Don't mess this up because this is your core. Also, explain it to me in a way that I can understand.'
'Sounds easy. Is there anything else?' He asked.
'Since this is your core and your own Rune Tree, you will also imbue your Force to my Force so that it recognizes your own signature. But don't put too much energy or else you will destroy mine.' I said and he did what I told.
Then, we began to carve the Rune Tree.
As Arthur explained the details of the blueprints while I draw it, Arthur felt an excruciating pain as he began to carve at his core. He began to cough out blood and started bleeding everywhere during the process.
And because of the pain he was experiencing, he was already struggling to form words.
'Focus! I know it hurts but endure it. Don't let go of your Force from mine. Take your time and embrace the pain.' I said and he nodded.
Arthur took his time reading off the blueprints while we both carved the Rune Tree to his core. First, we drew the body. The body was long and if you look closer, the structure is similar to a maze. Then, we drew the branches. The branches acted like a mediator for the Rune and Force. The former to draw in its powers, while the latter to receive its powers from the Runes and deliver it to the core. And by using the body as a highway, it can travel faster and safely towards the core.
Lastly, we carved the sockets for the Rune Stones to be placed at. The sockets was the hardest part. We don't want it to be too loose or too tight, or else messing up will permanently damage Arthur's core.
