Suddenly, Naruto's mouth opened against his will. A black crow slowly emerged, flapping its wings as it hovered before them—its single eye glowing red with a three-tomoe Sharingan.
This was Itachi's crow, sealed inside Naruto long ago. The moment it sensed Mangekyō Sharingan chakra, it had been triggered.
The crow's eye transformed into a Mangekyō Sharingan, locking its gaze on Sasuke. A genjutsu activated—Kotoamatsukami, the ultimate illusion meant to protect the Leaf.
It was a last-resort technique meant to overwrite Sasuke's will... but it didn't work. Not against his Eternal Mangekyō.

Naruto wasn't intimidated. He surged forward, entering full Tailed Beast Mode, transforming into a massive, golden Nine-Tails avatar radiating power. His fur danced with chakra, and his eyes burned with determination.
Sasuke's Susanoo loomed tall and regal. The weapons it wielded glinted with deadly light as Sasuke shouted:
"Today, Naruto, I'll show you just how far apart we really are!"
He swung the Totsuka Blade down with a thunderous roar.
Naruto dodged nimbly, countering with a swipe of his massive tails.
Susanoo blocked with the Yata Mirror. The impact shattered the ground around them in a powerful shockwave.
Sasuke leapt back, drawing his bow. With a flash, a chakra-infused arrow screamed through the air.
Naruto twisted to the side—the arrow missed, detonating behind him in an explosion that gouged a deep crater into the earth.
Taking the opening, Naruto lunged, jaws parting to release a blazing Tailed Beast Bomb.
Susanoo raised the Yata Mirror just in time, reflecting the attack back.
Naruto barely leapt aside as the bomb exploded in the sky, sending a blinding wave of smoke across the battlefield.
Sasuke used the cover of smoke to close in. Susanoo slashed with blade and mirror, clashing fiercely against Naruto's claws and tails. Metal shrieked against chakra as the titans fought.
Each blow cracked the air itself.
Naruto's chakra flared even brighter, golden and wild. Sasuke's Susanoo solidified, growing even more defined.
Another arrow flew—Naruto batted it away with his tail.
But Sasuke was already charging forward. Susanoo's massive fist slammed into Naruto, sending him tumbling across the ground.
Naruto caught himself mid-roll, then sprang forward, launching another volley of Tailed Beast Bombs.
Susanoo raised its weapons, blocking and deflecting them with every ounce of power.
The earth split. Debris flew. Shockwaves rippled through the air. Neither side gave an inch.
...
Up above, Hyuga Gakuya hovered in the sky, watching the destruction unfold below—the entire arena being torn apart by the clash between Naruto and Sasuke.
Gakuya clicked his tongue.

Down below, the Five Kage were watching too—but they weren't nearly as calm.
They wanted to step in. To help Naruto. But the sheer scale of the fight left them helpless. These were titans clashing. Even Kage-level power couldn't match it.
The oldest among them, the Tsuchikage, was the first to act.
As Susanoo took to the skies again, he quickly formed a seal and shouted,
"Dust Style: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu!"
A brilliant beam of light erupted from his palms, streaking toward Susanoo.
Sasuke sensed the danger. He had Susanoo dodge immediately, but the beam's radius was wide. It clipped one edge of the armor—part of Susanoo disintegrated instantly.
Naruto took the chance and lunged again. His monstrous form slammed into Susanoo, locking Sasuke into brutal close combat.
Sasuke's eyes blazed with fury, his Eternal Mangekyō pushing Susanoo's weapons to their limits.

Then Gaara made his move.
A massive sand hand surged up from the ground, slipping through the cracks in Susanoo's armor and seizing Sasuke by the leg. With a roar, Gaara hurled him skyward.
Mei Terumi, the Mizukage, followed up. She unleashed a wave of corrosive Lava Style—thick, bubbling fluid that splashed over Sasuke mid-air.
He didn't even resist. Eyes closed, body limp, he seemed to accept the attack.
The acid burned into his skin, scarring him instantly.
Everyone thought it was over.
...
Until Sasuke vanished.
"Trash like you… stay out of my way."
His voice rang out again, this time from a rooftop nearby.
